volleyball coach accused of sexual abuse in VegasA 26-year-old Las Vegas volleyball coach is behind bars facing multiple felony charges after police say he sexually assaulted a teenage girl he was treating as her physical therapist.

Levi Miller worked as facilities and operations manager for Vegas United Volleyball Club until the organization fired him following his arrest on Tuesday.

According to the arrest report, Miller began giving the girl free massage sessions when she was 15.

What started as standard physical therapy allegedly turned inappropriate over time, including unwanted touching and one incident where he squeezed her neck.

Police say he also sent her explicit sexual videos and messages on Snapchat and admitted developing romantic feelings shortly after her 16th birthday. Miller denied any intentional sexual contact.

Coaches in Positions of Trust

When someone in a coaching or training role is accused of misconduct with a minor athlete, authorities tend to respond quickly. Youth sports clubs, such as volleyball teams, have a real responsibility to keep their players safe. Sometimes, it only takes one complaint to launch a full-blown investigation.

Digital evidence really makes a difference in these cases. Texts, videos, and even app histories quickly become key pieces of the puzzle. Snapchat messages might seem to vanish, but they’re not always gone for good. Investigators can recover them, and courts can use them.

When you add a big age gap and the coach’s position of power, things get even more serious under Nevada law.
